A STEP BY STEP PROCESS

SOFT OPENING: JUNE 2023

As the weather warms and outdoor worship under the oaks comes to an end for this year, we WILL be ready to open the doors to our new building for worship service starting in June.  We are calling this a “soft opening” because while we will be in the new building, it will not be completely put together.  In other words, it will still be missing some of the features we plan to have in the completed building, namely a new sound and video system.  Even though we will be missing the finishing touches, there is great excitement to get into the new building, so check back at this page soon.  The date of the first service will be announced very soon.

SUMMER 2023

We are in the process of “gearing up” towards a grand opening.  This means that throughout the Summer, those finishing touches that we could not complete in time for our soft opening will be checked off the to-do list one by one.  Each time, helping us build closer to a grand opening.

GRAND OPENING: PROJECTED FALL 2023

With a construction project like this one, there is no way to perfectly estimate a timeline for completion, but we are currently projecting Fall 2023 for our grand opening celebration.  This will be the day when we invite the whole Gulf Gate neighborhood to come celebrate the opening of our newly completed building.  Check back regularly for updates to our construction timeline.
