Gulf Gate Church has a Disaster Relief Fund to assist those in our church family and in our community. Giving to our relief fund will support our teams who are going out to assist the most vulnerable members of our community.

To give to our Disaster Relief Fund, click below and be sure to designate your gift for Disaster Relief by changing selector from “Give to General Fund” to “Disaster Relief”.

As we recover, we are discovering a wide array of impacts to our community. While we work with local partners to access the impacts of the storm, and send out our response teams, we have created a Needs Assessment Survey to help spotlight the needs . If you are a Gulf Gate Church member and you’d like some help or know someone who does, please take this very short survey. We will get back with you with more info pronto.

We are gathering info on how church members can help with wider task of disaster relief for all who are affected. The goal is to match needs to available volunteer help. We are also in the process of organizing teams for ‘day’ trips. Most of the work involves debris removal.

As you know, there is an overwhelming need. If you sign up to volunteer, whenever we have a day trip opportunity we will send out texts and emails to invite you. We will try to plan teams every other week. Bring work gloves, safety glasses, wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
